UPDATE: Wednesday, Oct. 22, 11:32 AM PST

Hi Y'ALL. Well, One of David's stitches became infected. He says it is like he has a big bubble on his head right now. The doctors are treating the infection before they start the radiation therapy so the infection doesn't spread. Sounds like David has a long road ahead, but he is positive and optimistic...Toddmac

I just Spoke with Dave and he sounds great. Everything is moving along. He has a car in Los Angeles that keeps getting impounded. If anyone is travelling to or from Los Angeles, please let me know email: todd@notfarnow.com or 310.508.3954. Thanks all. I hope everyone is peachy...Toddmac

UPDATE: Sunday, Oct. 12, 12:06 PM PST

Hi Everyone! I spoke with David on Friday and he sounds well. He is very relaxed and pretty happy where he is because he says it is quite nice there. A team of doctors are looking over his MRI and CATscan results trying to plan out the best form of therapy (duration and amount of chemo and radiation). He mentioned working out a way to do his chemo at home and fly back to Ohio for checkups when necessary. The new chemotherapy method is by pill which is nice because he can take them on his own. Hopefully we will see him soon.Toddmac

UPDATE: Monday, Oct. 6, 7:25 PM PST

Well everyone, here are the results. Not the best of news. Let's all remain optimistic and continue our support. "The pathology report from David's tumor showed a grade 3 malignacy.
Although this grade 3 tissue was from the center most part of the tumor, the panel of physicians at UCMC have recommended a fairly agressive treatment. This will include 33 radiation treatments and possibly concurrent or successive chemotherapy. David will remain in Ohio for this treatment. The
outcome from the surgeon is still optimistic." Thank you Cindy Kurzrock for the update.
It has been brought to my attention that David was denied disability payments. If anyone wants to make monetary donations, please see the support section of the site. Thanks..Toddmac
