UPDATE: Wednesday, Oct. 22, 11:32 AM PST Hi Y'ALL. Well, One of David's stitches became infected. He says it is like he has a big bubble on his head right now. The doctors are treating the infection before they start the radiation therapy so the infection doesn't spread. Sounds like David has a long road ahead, but he is positive and optimistic...Toddmac |

UPDATE: Sunday, Oct. 12, 12:06 PM PST Hi Everyone! I spoke with David on Friday and he sounds well. He is very relaxed and pretty happy where he is because he says it is quite nice there. A team of doctors are looking over his MRI and CATscan results trying to plan out the best form of therapy (duration and amount of chemo and radiation). He mentioned working out a way to do his chemo at home and fly back to Ohio for checkups when necessary. The new chemotherapy method is by pill which is nice because he can take them on his own. Hopefully we will see him soon.Toddmac |
